It’s the second day of 2011. I had no plans whatsoever throughout the entire day, so I decided to spring clean my room. I did clean my room right before Christmas because Sheelaa was supposed to spend Christmas with us but things didn't worked out the way we want it too.
You see the day before Christmas itself, I threw 3 plastic bags of items that I no longer use/want and I barely swept the floor let alone mop it because i was lazy busy with other Christmas preparation. It's not all messy now, it's just that I know I have a "few" things that I may have no longer grown attached to anymore.
At first I took out ALL. Yes. ALL of my law books from underneath my bed. My best friend is graduating from law school in August and I'm still keeping my law books -____-. Those books have been in there so long that they're collecting dust like literally. I'm serious.
I didn't throw the bag away, asked my mum to give it away. Perhaps there's someone else could put the bag into good use. After all, it's still in such good condition. You know one man's trash is another man's treasure. I threw all of my photo-stated law books and kept only the originals. I'd keep them until I found someone who wants 'em. I cleared everything underneath my bed just so I could swept all those dust & dirt and my room looked even messier with all those clutter.

I went through all those boxes, some that my mum kept for me underneath my bed. Things, letters and cards I didn't even remember existed. Old photographs that bring back memories. I probably might have spent 1/3 of my day reminiscing through my stuffs first before I did an actual spring cleaning.
My acceptance letter to MMU in 2006. If I stayed studying law, I would have probably be graduating with my best friend this August. Oh well, I took the road less traveled, I've never regretted since then :)
It takes two was aired on TV2 in 2004. This was the copy of my script. I got the part until someone found a prettier Pan Asian girl to replace me. At first my brother got the part because he auditioned for it but I came during rehearsal and they replace him, changed the entire script just so the character would suit a girl and then got the actor replaced (again). Karma, no? Hahahaha. I find it rather amusing really. I didn't mind at all that I got replaced. It was a good experience. :)
Program books for Girl Guides gathering 2002/2003, ICC Concert year 2004 and my first installation day. I remembered I have more. Probably I may or my mother may have thrown the rest away. I threw these books eventually because I don't find the need to keep them anyway.

When I was younger, my mum used to make me collect collectible items. To me now, it feels like she grooming me into a hoarder then. Don't you think? Now that explains. Hahaha. Anyway she would buy these really popular then, porcelain dolls for me. She wouldn't let me take 'em out of their box. Pffftttt. And I always listen to my mum?
Of course I took them out, played with them, broke Iris's left leg :P and I left them in the box for years when I stopped playing with them.

One thing a lot of people doesn't know about me perhaps even my own man is that I love greeting cards especially if it's written along with such meaningful messages. I've kept many for ages. I've even kept the Christmas card that D's mum gave on behalf of his family to mine :)

These are two of my personal favourite that I think is worth sharing.

I've been collecting stamps since I was 8 before I stopped for a few years and then i started it again in year 2000. Honestly I've never had a stamp album. I think it's about time to buy an album instead having all of them in a box, left undisplayed.
My best friend, Sharifah Aishah is one of the main reason why the 16 year old Khristabelle was into Simple Plan. My first original CD i've ever bought. The Simple Plan. Most of the time when someone brings up on my taste of music then, I would most of the time blush in embarrassment. Sigh. Oh well. It was a phrase la ok!
| My 1st original CD I've ever purchased. Perhaps the one and only. Yes the first & last. |
I bought the CD because they were down in Malaysia then in 2004. I bought their CD just so that I could go for the meet & greet session at then Tower Records in KLCC. I did and I was starstruck-ed. I barely took any picture of them but I managed to get their autograph signed on my poster. Oh boy, I was beyond ecstatic. then. Hahaha. I threw the poster and i'm keeping the CD for reminiscent sake.
| My signed poster. To the trash you go. :) |
Later.
xx
